Visa for Business Talent (Permanent) (Subclass 132) A | B
Permanent visas for business talent (migrants) are available to candidates in two streams:
- For those who possess stakes in significant firms, see the Significant Business History Stream.
- For those who have access to venture capital investment of at least AUD $1 million, there is a Venture Capital Entrepreneur Stream.

- You can either be in Australia or overseas when you lodge your application.
- If you are in Australia, you must hold a substantive visa or a Bridging A, B or C visa.

.State requirements for Business visas
The following requirements must be met by all applicants:
- .An Australian State or Territory government has nominated you for immigration to Australia.
- .You have been given the opportunity to apply through the SkillSelect platform.
- .After entering Australia, you have a sincere and practical commitment to start a new business or join an already established one, retain a substantial ownership position, and engage in the day-to-day operation of the enterprise.
- Business History Stream of Note
- .Unless the nominated state or territory government certifies that the planned business activity is of extraordinary economic benefit, you are under the age of 55.
- .You had: For at least two of the previous four fiscal years.
- .net company assets of at least 400,000 AUD; or
- 10% ownership of the company, assuming it is an openly traded one.
- .In two of the previous four fiscal years, the company had an annual turnover of at least AUD 3 million.
- .You have at least AUD 1.5 million in net assets.
Entrepreneur Stream: Venture Capital
- You must have a venture capital funding agreement worth at least AUD $1 million through an Australian business that is a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association Limited (AVCAL) in order to be eligible for the venture capital entrepreneur stream.
- Business migration may be very complicated, and even figuring out whether you have a reasonable chance of being eligible can be challenging. Additionally, you might be able to meet the requirements for a variety of company migration categories.
