Requirements

If a state, territory, or the Australian government nominates you, you could be eligible for this visa; and

possess a temporary Business Innovation and Investment visa (subclass 188) and satisfy the conditions for that visa in the stream in which you first applied, or
have either a Business (Long Stay) visa (subclass 457IE) or a Special Category visa (subclass 444) and satisfy the criteria for the business innovation stream.

Business Innovation and Investment Subclass 888 Visa (Permanent)

You are able to live permanently in Australia with this visa.There are two Eligibility Streams for the subclass 888 visa:

.The Business Innovation Stream, as well as

Common Requirements for Both Streams of Eligibility

own a Business Innovation and Investment visa that is temporary

Criteria	The Business Innovation Stream – 888 visa
Businesses Activity	a promise to continue operating your qualified business in Australia for at least another two years.
Interest in Ownership	Continuous ownership involvement in one or more principal enterprises for at least two years prior to application (see 188 visa for further information). You might not be able to apply if you have an ownership stake in another previous business skills visa applicant or visa holder.
Managing Position	In each of the two years before to the application, the applicant maintained direct and ongoing engagement in the day-to-day administration of the company at a senior level and made choices that had an impact on the overall performance and direction of the company.

The applicant must satisfy two of the following three requirements:
1) Australia's Net Business Assets	At least $200,000 was spent during the previous year, before the application was submitted, and it still has that and was legitimately obtained.
2) Total number of workers	2 full-time workers or more who are Australian citizens, permanent residents, or holders of New Zealand passports, excluding MFU's during the 12 months preceding to application.
