If your only passport is a British National Overseas, British Dependent Territories Citizen, British Overseas Citizen, British Protected Person, or British Subject passport, you are ineligible to apply for the eVisitor.
convictions for crimes
You will not be allowed entry to Australia while holding an eVisitor if you have had one or more criminal convictions (in any country) for which the total length of your sentence(s), whether served or not, totals 12 months or more. An eVisitor visa (subclass 600) may be a better option for you to apply for if you have ever had a criminal conviction in any nation.
